What to expect in Los Cabos
Los Cabos uses Type A and B sockets at 127 V / 60 Hz. Resort rooms are built for North American guests, so US plugs need nothing.
Power in Mexico comes mainly from natural gas, oil, hydro, wind. Grid reliability is described as moderate to good.
Good to know: Both 120/240 V split-phase and 127/220 V three-phase are used.
What to pack for Los Cabos
- A travel adapter with Type A and Type B on the socket side.
- A step-up transformer only if you are bringing 230 V appliances from Europe or Asia.
